Physics Answer Questions

Resistor in a cable

Problem:
In an electrical circuit, there is a 5 ohm resistor and a strong electrical current in the wire is 0.1 amperes. What is the voltage that flows in the copper wire?

Solution:
Flowing on the cable voltage is 0.5 volts.Can we count from Ohm's Law equation V = R x ISo that:V = R x IV = 5 ohms x 0.1 amperesV = 0.5 ohm.ampereV = 0.5 volts
